As a beginner i did not care about the signal levels and range of all the modules i built. After building a lot of modules from different designers i was a little bit lost. There has been a need of a module indicating what's going on.
This module has a selectable working range from either 0V to +10V or -5V to +5V. it provides two LEDs indicating the input signal exceeding the the actual working range.
to use the spare front panel space i added an additional cable tester (i had to isolate the sockets from the panel, which has been a little bit tricky).
